We are starting a new scheme whereby patients will be able to see or consult with our local pharmacist, Terrys Pharmacy, down the road, for basic minor ailments.

It will work in the following way:

When the patient calls in for an emergency appointment in the morning, if its something that can be dealt with by the pharmacist, based on a checklist (see list below) then reception will send your details via a quick referral form, with your consent to the Pharmacist, who will then call you and take over your care for that particular ailment. He can even prescribe for you if required.  He will aim to call you on the day.

If in case the situation is such that requires GP input, he will inform us, and we will then get back to the patient for a review.

This will help the surgery provide more access to patients with more complex or long term health issues.
