Reception Team

 

 

The reception team are the first point of contact for all patients at the surgery.

Our experienced Reception team are here to help you in making bookings, answering queries and directing you to the most appropriate service based on your medical needs. They will help you set up you patient online access and update your details so the surgery can keep you informed of new services.

LIZ

A little information from Liz is below:

“I’ve been a GP receptionist at this surgery for the past 18 years.  I feel I possess good communication and listening skills that hopefully allow me to communicate successfully with the patients,  whether this be in person or on the phone.
 Away from work, I enjoy time with family/friends.  I am a big sports fan including all sports 
with the exception of cricket (apologies to patients who happen to be cricket fans).”

MARGARET

A little information from Margaret is below:

“I have worked at The Avenue Surgery part time for 13 years. I was employed as an administrator but more recently, am working at reception and being trained on the front desk experience. I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and family when not at work”

ASMAT

A little information about Asmat is below:

“Hi I am Asmat and I am a  Receptionist and an Administrator in The Avenue Surgery with BTEC National Diploma in IT.  I have over 13 years of experience in customer service. I always try to meet people’s expectations and help them to the best of my ability. I have an interest in History and really enjoy collecting Niche Fragrances.”

MANJIT

A little information about Manjit below:

“I have worked as an administrator for the NHS for the last 13 years and enjoy it thoroughly. I now work in reception as well as working as an administrator. I am approachable, a good listener and always try my best to help patients with their queries. If given the opportunity I would like to volunteer and help victims of domestic violence and gain the confidence to help rebuild their lives.”

ANITA

A little information from Anita is below:

“Hi, my name is Anita. One of my greatest pleasures is trying to help people on their own journey to giving up smoking. As an ex-smoker myself, I achieved a level 2 qualification to help support and give accurate advice and I am proud to say I have helped many on their journey. Please feel free to speak to me at any time when you are ready to quit smoking. See you soon.”

CARLENE

A little information about Carlene is below:

“I’m Carlene, the smiley, talkative receptionist who empathises with people within the broad spectrum of mental health, depression and anxiety. I love to help people and put a smile on their faces. If you are feeling particularly down, I will try and cheer you up. “
