Our experienced Reception team are here to help you in making bookings, answering queries and directing you to the most appropriate service based on your medical needs. They will help you set up you patient online access and update your details so the surgery can keep you informed of new services.

“I have worked at The Avenue Surgery part time for 13 years. I was employed as an administrator but more recently, am working at reception and being trained on the front desk experience. I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and family when not at work”

“Hi I am Asmat and I am a Receptionist and an Administrator in The Avenue Surgery with BTEC National Diploma in IT. I have over 13 years of experience in customer service. I always try to meet people’s expectations and help them to the best of my ability. I have an interest in History and really enjoy collecting Niche Fragrances.”

“I’m Carlene, the smiley, talkative receptionist who empathises with people within the broad spectrum of mental health, depression and anxiety. I love to help people and put a smile on their faces. If you are feeling particularly down, I will try and cheer you up. “
Caroline has just recently joined the surgery in Sep 2020.
Sarina has joined us in December 2020 as the new evening receptionist.
Ceri has joined us in January 2021 and will be working in the morning shift. She has worked in GP practices before.
